Guests in ride car for GOTG - Guardians of the Galaxy

    I shared the invitation with one of the guests in my group and he had an issue getting his account right. For some reason it is now showing his wife’s name on my My Disney Experience (which has the original bookings and tickets). How can I fix this issue?

    Hi Macy!  Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.

    It's a little bit tricky for me to assist you through this forum, as I have no way of knowing how you and your friend have your My Disney Experience accounts set up, and exactly where the issue might be.  I'll do my best to help you troubleshoot and give you some general information about connecting with Family & Friends through My Disney Experience.

    Based on what you have described, my best guess is that the email address you entered to connect was associated with your friend's wife's account.  If her name is now on your Family & Friends List, and she is connected to your friend, you may be able to add your friend's name by selecting "Add a Guest" at the bottom of your list and then selecting "Find through my connected Guests".  If your friend's wife has chosen to share her Family & Friends List, you might be able to add your friend that way.  If that doesn't seem to work, a super easy way to link Family & Friends is to use their linking code rather than sending an email invitation.  Have your friend use the menu button in the lower right corner of the home screen of the My Disney Experience mobile app to go to his profile and choose "Show My Linking Code".  On your mobile device, go to your profile and select "Family & Friends List" at the top, then choose "Add a Guest" and select "Scan their linking code".  You can then either scan their code with your device's camera or you can enter the code manually.

    If that doesn't help, give the My Disney Experience tech team a call at (407) 939-4357.  The friendly Cast Members there have been incredibly helpful whenever I have experienced an issue with my account.
