Welcome to planDisney, Cindy!
Thanks for bringing your question our way.
I hope this means you're considering staying at either
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter or
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside! Both Resort hotels are absolutely magical in their own ways.
With Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside having larger grounds, you'll find taking strolls around the property wonderful because of the picturesque views. Because Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is a smaller resort, you'll find the ease of getting to and from the lobby of the resort (as well as the bus stop, which is located just outside the lobby) to feel seamless and convenient. Not to mention,
Scat Cat's Club - Café serves up some of the very best Mickey-shaped snacks in all of Walt Disney World Resort property, the
Mickey-shaped Beignets! Regardless of where you choose to say, I recommend stopping by to try these delectable delights!
Although the Resort hotels don't always share the
bus transportation, when they do, typically the first stop is French Quarter during both pickup and drop off. If this is important to you, I'll also add that Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside usually has four bus stops, while Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter has one.
When you choose to stay at a Disney Resort hotel, you get to take advantage of perks such as
Early Theme Park Entry! This allows Guests of Disney Resort hotels and other select hotels to enter any of the four theme parks 30 minutes earlier than regular operating hours! Yay!
Wishing you an enchanting visit, Cindy!
