Hello, Sandra, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
My family and I love sharing meals whenever we can. Generally speaking, we aren’t “big eaters,” and we often find that one main dish and appetizer is enough for us to share as a meal. In my experience, the only places where sharing is not allowed at
Walt Disney World Resort are
buffets,
Character Dining meals,
Dessert Events and
Dinner Shows--basically anywhere where each Guest pays one set price for their meal. Since
Teppan Edo allows you to select what you want for lunch and dinner, you should be allowed to share. Please keep in mind that some portions of the
Teppan Edo menu (such as the Entree Enhancements) are only available if you order an entree. For example, my husband, daughter and I might order Edamame as an Appetizer and Yasai as our Entree with an extra order of Brown Rice as an Entree Enhancement to share among the three of us. If we share a meal, though, we always make sure to leave a tip for our server as if we had ordered separately.
We especially like sharing meals at
Epcot to leave room for the delicious caramel popcorn at
Karamell-Küche in Germany or Pain au Chocolat at
Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in the France pavilion. There are so many amazing treats at Epcot it seems a shame to fill up at just one stop!
If you have any questions or concerns about sharing a meal at any
Walt Disney World Resort dining location, just ask the host or hostess or your waiter or waitress.
Enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World Resort, Sandra! Please let us know if there are any other questions we can answer for you as you plan your vacation.
