Hello Lynda!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with another question. Disney dining is one of my favorite things to discuss so let's dig right in.
Remy, everyone's favorite tiny chef from
Ratatouille famously said, "If you are what you eat, then I only want to eat the good stuff." I share Remy's philosophy and thankfully have never found a shortage of delectable cuisine at Walt Disney World Resort (looking at you
Narcoossee's and
Flying Fish). When I'm not enjoying a meal on property, I'm home dreaming up my next dining reservation. My next visit is three weeks away and I have a pretty solid lineup planned. There's truly something to please every palate!
So, before I get too far into a culinary cabaret, the short answer to your question is "absolutely," and the slightly longer answer is "but not at all locations." While you and your tablemate are welcome to split an appetizer, entree and/or dessert at most locations, you won't be able to do so at restaurants where each guest is charged a set price per meal. For example, if you planned to enjoy Princess Storybook Dining at
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, each guest would be charged a fixed price dependent on the meal type. The same is true for the pre-fixed menus at
Space 220 Restaurant and at all-you-care-to-enjoy venues like
Boma - Flavors of Africa. Some locations like Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera have varying menus throughout the day with
pre-fixed Breakfast pricing and the
option to order a la carte for Dinner. I'd recommend reviewing the menus at your preferred locations carefully before making reservations.
Since your visit is less than 60 days away (hooray!) you are already
within the window to begin making reservations. If you are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can book for your length of stay, up to 10 days. If you are staying off-site you can reserve each day of your trip as you hit the 60-day mark. If you need any recommendations for where to go and what to order please come back and let us know. We're always glad to share our sweet and savory favorites!
I'm wishing you a wonderful and delicious vacation, Lynda!
Bon Appétit,
Amy
