Can you share a meal in a restaurant

    Hi Sheila,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! One of my favorite parts about a Disney vacation is all of the incredible food! Mmm...my mouth is watering just thinking about some of my favorites! With fun dinner shows, chances to dine with beloved characters, and cuisines to please any palate, you're sure to find the perfect meals and snacks to enjoy!

I'm happy to let you know that yes, you are able to share meals at most Disney restaurants. I'd always encourage you to check with your server prior to ordering, but I can tell you that my family has often split plates at both Quick-service and Table-service restaurants. While it's possible that there may be an additional charge for the extra plating, sharing a meal is great if you're trying to control your portions or your budget. Do keep in mind that if it's an all-you-care-to-enjoy meal served either family style or via buffet, the cost will be charged per person rather than per plate, so while you can share and eat off each other's plates, everyone in your party will be able to enjoy as much as they'd like. Each Guest will also need to pay individually at any character meals, too, since there's much more to those meals than just food. Just remember to make any dining reservations for the total number of Guests in your party, regardless of how many plates you'll be ordering, as each Mouseketeer will need their own seat.

Please let us know if we can help with anything else as you're planning your visit, Sheila, as we're always here and happy to help. I hope that you have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
