Bonjour, Carrie! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for this
fantastique question. Your Walt Disney World Resort visit will be here before Remy can whip up some ratatouille, so let's talk about sharing meals during your trip.
Dining at
EPCOT is a culinary cabaret, and some of my favorite choices are in the France Pavilion. I often skip straight to dessert with a Croque Glacé at
L'Artisan des Glaces. You can choose one scoop of any flavored ice cream to be warm-pressed in a homemade brioche. The combination of hot and cold is
très magnifique!
My husband and I often grab snacks and festival bites when we visit, so I understand wanting to split a meal. At
Chefs de France, the answer to whether you can share or not is...maybe. If you order items separately, you can typically share them with your tablemates at most restaurants. However, if you choose the
prix fixe option listed on the menu, you will probably be charged for each party member. Buffets and family-style locations also typically charge per guest.
The easiest way to plan meals is to look at menus online or in your mobile app. The restaurant's landing page should have a link to view the menu and will indicate if dining is served family style, buffet, or prix fixe. Those options usually cannot be split between more than one guest. But if a menu lists individual entrees, you can probably share those.
I recommend asking your server for options at any location. If you cannot split a meal, they might have ideas for smaller plates you can opt for. My friends and I often order and share several appetizers as a light meal; we say sampling all that food is for planDisney research!
Carrie, I'm wishing on an
étoile that you'll have a magical visit!
planDisney is glad for you to be our guest anytime!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
