Welcome to planDisney! I was so excited when they brought back the
Disney dining plans this year because it is such a great way to turn your Disney vacation into something that feels more like an all-inclusive vacation.
On the
Disney Dining Plan, one Table Service Meal will be deducted from your balance for each meal that is ordered. No policy directly states whether or not two people can share a Table Service Meal so it is essentially left up to the individual restaurants as to whether or not they will allow you to do this. I recommend asking at the front desk when you check in at the restaurant to ensure that the manager on duty will be ok with your server utilizing your dining plan meals this way.
There are some locations where splitting a Table Service Meal will not be an option. All character dining locations, locations that offer a prix fixe menu, and buffet-style or family-style dining locations will require that each guest utilize a Table Service Meal when dining there.
