Will Shades of Green guests be considered Disney Resort guests and be able to make park reservations with the new phased reopening reservation system? We have SOG reservations and have purchased tickets. Thanks!

    Hiya Ida!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for bringing such an "of-the-moment" question to us! Sometimes life throws us a bit of a "Stitch," but just like our fearless friend, we can adapt and still enjoy magical experiences!

As you've hEARd, the Reservation System at Walt Disney World Resort has changed for the foreseeable future. Currently, all new reservations for hotels, tickets, and dining are on hold as we adjust to our "new normal." As someone with current tickets, you will have the chance to make a new theme park reservation before new tickets are sold. You will be contacted soon with how to go about making your new reservation.

As for Shades of Green, since it is owned and operated by the Department of Defense, they will be the ones to update you about the possibility of a new reservation. According to their website, they are accepting new arrivals after July 1st, with the caveat that they will do everything in conjunction with CDC guidelines and partnership with the Resort. I wish I could give you a more specific answer about your hotel stay, but I can't! I would touch base with Shades of Green, their email for all questions regarding your reservation, and the current situation is guestsupport@shadesofgreen.org.

Ida, if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come back. I wish you much pixie dust during rescheduling!
