Hi. I want to get several family members a yearly pass. Can I buy these one at a time as certificates and then activate them all at the same time so that our year is the same.. If so, how do I make sure I am buying certificates not activated passes. Thanks

    Dear Janice,

Thanks for coming back to chat with us again here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about Annual Passes. What an incredibly generous and thoughtful gift!

I am an Annual Passholder myself, and they can be a big burden to the budget, I know! I understand wanting to spread out the cost over several months. You can absolutely do that, and you do not have to activate any of them until you are ready. For example, if you were planning on purchasing four Annual Passes over four months, but then not activating them until September 1, then your activation date of September 1 would be the exact same for all four passes, even though you bought them all on different dates. They do not automatically activate on the day of purchase. When you purchase them, they will show up in your My Disney Experience account but will not be activated. You must go to a lobby concierge or to any Guest Services location in order to activate them.

    Hope that helps!
