Seven of us leave in a week. I would love a group photo but can't coordinate our schedules to set up a photo session. If the moment presents itself, would it be rude to ask a photopass photographer to take a lot of photos and generously tip him/her?

You can ask a PhotoPass photographer to take as many pictures as you want; that's their job. I've been with largish groups several times and asked PhotoPass photographers to take lots of shots: the group, just the adults, just the kids, different sub-families, etc. It's what they're there for and they're happy to help document your vacation.

And there's no need to tip. In fact, I'm nearly certain that the photographer would not be allowed to take a tip if it were offered. However, if any Disney cast member goes out of their way to give you special service, it's always nice to let their supervisors know. You can do this by emailing wdw.guest.communications@disney.com. Be as specific as you can about the situation: the cast member's name and hometown (will be on their nametag), where and when you were when the cast member made your day, and what the cast member did to enhance your Disney experience. Positive guest comments always help in cast member performance reviews and such.

Hope you have a great trip!
