The seven of us will be coming to WDW from October 22 to the 26th. How busy or crowded are the parks at that time of year, and is Mickey's Halloween Party every night, or just some nights? Thanks!

Hi, Heather! The crowds in October are nowhere close to spring break, summer, or holiday levels.  In fact, it is my family's favorite time of year to go, and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is another factor in our choice!  The Halloween party only happens on certain nights, but the dates haven't been released yet this year. I can tell you that last year Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets went on sale May 1, 2011.  The dates for the parties are usually released just prior to that time as well.  Keep an eye on the DisneyParks blog for that information. While you are there, sign up for their daily email.  It's the best way to stay current on all things Disney Park related.  In the meantime, you can make educated guesses at the Halloween party nights by looking at the Magic Kingdom calendar for October and seeing when the park is scheduled to close at 7:00 P.M.  It's not a guarantee, but it's a pretty good estimate.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
