Hi Sherry!
Thank you for bringing your question to
planDisney!
I can completely relate to visiting
Walt Disney World on a budget and I have a few tips for you!
First, to answer your question, yes, you can absolutely bring outside food and beverages to the theme parks. There are a few restrictions, such as ensuring that you don't bring glass containers, the items must not require heating or cooling, and the food cannot have pungent odors. Also, coolers, with or without wheels, larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm) are
not allowed in any theme park or water park. The cooler also cannot contain loose or dry ice. However, you can bring reusable ice packs to keep your food cool.
Secondly, I have a few budget-friendly tips! There are many
Quick-Service dining options throughout the Walt Disney World
parks and
resorts. These locations offer delicious food at reasonable prices. The portions are also extremely large, so you can often order one meal and spilt it among a few people to save money.
You can also rent a
locker at the front of the park to store your meals while you enjoy the attractions. Freeze a few water bottles to keep the food cold and head back over to your locker when you are ready for lunch or dinner.
I also recommend bringing a backpack with essentials to the parks so you don't have to purchase any items that you may have forgotten. For example, make sure to bring your own sunscreen, sunglasses, and reusable water bottle. You can get complimentary tap water and ice from many of the Quick-Service dining locations. You can then fill up your reusable water bottle with tap water and save money on buying drinks at the parks.
When you visit, make sure to check out the
Disney Fab 50 Character Collection in the parks. You can hunt for the golden statues throughout the parks. You also won't want to miss all of the
magical extras, which are excellent perks of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel!
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
