Hi Steven!
Welcome to planDisney! On our most recent trip, my boys dubbed
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train their favorite ride! So, I’m excited you’ll be able to experience it with your little one soon, too.
When using Rider Switch with
Lightning Lane Single Pass, you’ll want to purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass for everyone who will be riding. So, in this case, you’ll want 3 Lightning Lane Single Passes.
The best part about Rider Switch, though, is that your kiddo will get to ride twice! Here’s how it will work.
When your return time rolls around, chat with the Cast Member at the entrance to the Lightning Lane to set up
Rider Switch. Then one adult and your little one will enter via the Lightning Lane using their Lightning Lane Single Passes, while the other adult waits with your baby.
Once the first two are done riding, the second adult will be able to enter the attraction via the Lightning Lane with their Lightning Lane Single Pass. But, since the second group is only one person, they’ll be able to bring a second person along with them, so they don’t have to ride alone. Cue your little one being able to ride a second time in a row!
Make sure to book your Lightning Lane Single Passes for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train as soon as you can, as this is a popular Lightning Lane and is subject to availability. Your Lightning Lane booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 7 days prior to your resort check-in date if you’re staying at a
Disney World resort or select good neighbor hotel. If you’re staying off property, your booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 3 days prior to the start date of your ticket for date-based tickets.
If you have any other questions as you continue to plan, feel free to come back and visit us. We’re always happy to help!
