Welcome back, Jenn! This time next year, you'll be ready to head out on the high seas for a magical seven nights of exploring ports and enjoying the entertainment and activities onboard that Disney is excited to offer! Since you'll be on a seven-night sailing, the night of your first full sea day will be Formal Night.
Guests get dolled up for this fun night in anything from suits and ties for the men and simple dresses for the women, to full tuxedos for men and formal ball gowns for the women. You'll see a little of everything that night. Even
Mickey and his friends will be dressed in tuxedos and their formal best which makes for some great photos. I cherish the photo we have of my son when he was only three in the tiniest little tuxedo with a Mickey Mouse bow tie, my husband in a matching tux and tie, and Mickey Mouse himself in his own tuxedo, grinning his big cheesy grin. Such a sweet moment!
Disney does partner with Cruise Formalwear to offer guests the opportunity to have formalwear rentals delivered to their stateroom. I haven't used this service myself, since we own our own, but what a convenient option for guests to simply show up and have a tux waiting in their stateroom! Check out the
Disney Cruise Line attire page, which includes a link to the Cruise Formalwear website.
Happy planning, Jenn!
