We are setting sail on the Disney Magic in May. I love looking on here and I am making lists from all the great ideas. Are we allowed to bring walkie talkies on board the cruise ship? And if we are allowed, will they work?

    Ahoy Meredith!
A magical May sail away cruise sounds wonderful, and I'm glad the panel has been helpful in your cruise plans!  You have a great question about walkie talkies onboard the ship!  Yes, they are allowed, but because of all the steel in the vessel, there may be times you have problems with reception.  Along with the walkie talkies, you will also be able to use the two wave phones that come with your staterooms (you can get more phones for an additional fee).  The phones can be used onboard the ship to call and text friends and family and are the size of a small cell phone.  If you have a child who will be visiting the Oceaneer Club and Lab (ages 3-12), the youth counselors will use the phones to communicate with you as well.
Thanks so much for visiting the Moms Panel, Meredith!  If you have any other questions, please let me know!
    Have a magical day!
