Setting sail on the Disney Dream on 10/30 for a Halloween on the high seas cruise! We booked our trip with a VGT which we are excited for, as we’re not super picky about cabin location. My question is, when is the average time the room gets assigned?

    Ahoy, Keith!

What a SPOOK-tacular sailing you have coming up with Captain Mickey and his seafaring crew! I know you can't wait to celebrate Halloween on the High Seas on the Disney Dream in just a few weeks!

Keith, my family has booked a VGT or a Verandah Guarantee Stateroom in the past because like you, we are not typically picky about our cabin location on the ship. If we are on the ship, we are HAPPY! I've noticed room assignments have appeared online in my cruise reservation information anywhere from a couple of months before sailing right up to a few days prior to departure. If I were you, I would continue to check daily because I bet it will show up any day now. Once it's there you can start mapping your route to Eye Scream Treats and Cabanas! (These are the two locations I tend to visit the most often on my cruise vacations!).

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Keith! We hope you'll come back over to "sea" us if you need further assistance with your magical plans. Enjoy counting down the final days!

    Bon Voyage!
