How do I set spending limits on my kids' magicbands?

    Hey there, Archie!

It is physically impossible for my kids to walk into a gift shop without seeing something that they "can not live without." Obviously, this presents a problem at places like Walt Disney World Resort where souvenir temptation lies around every corner.

Archie, I am sorry to tell you that you are unable to set a spending limit on your children's MagicBands. What I recommend you do instead is deactivate charging privileges on those MagicBands. You can then gift each one of your kids a Disney Gift Card with their assigned budget.

I find that a Disney Gift Card really gets my oldest excited for the trip, he is a shopper like his mommy. You will also be able to customize your gift cards with each child's favorite character. Just make sure to write the name of the child and the amount on the back of each gift card.

I hope that this helped, Archie. Please let us know if we can help you figure out where to play, stay, or dine at Walt Disney World Resort.

    See you real soon!
