Hello! We are set to sail on the Dream August 7th. I'm a little confused about the dining. There seems to be specific times to eat. Is this correct and can you explain a little for me?

    Ahoy, Jorge!

How exciting that you are sailing on the Disney Dream in just a few short days! If you login to your cruise reservation on the Disney Cruise Line website, it should show you if you have main dining or late dining for the duration of your cruise. This means that your family will be scheduled to eat at either 6:00pm or 8:00pm each night of your cruise.

On your first night in one of the main dining rooms, you will meet your "dining team". This consists of a server who takes your food order and brings it to you, an assistant server, who is largely in charge of your drinks, and a head server, who is like a manager in the dining room and oversees many different tables. These 3 servers will stay with you for the duration of your cruise. You will visit them in a different restaurant each night, but your table number will stay the same.

To make this easier to remember, Disney Cruise Line prints your dining rotation and table number on your Key To The World card. These times are scheduled so that it gives your family the time to attend the Broadway-caliber show that is presented each night in the Walt Disney Theatre.

I hope this answers your dining questions! Have a wonderful cruise on the Dream! Be sure to try the AquaDuck, it's great!

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
