We are set for the March 2013 Bahamas Cruise on the Magic. Is it necessary to make reservations for the shows that are offered or will that be easily done while on board? I also wondered about the Adult Dining option reservation. What about the kids?

Hi Katheryne, welcome aboard! You'll be thrilled to know that once you set foot on the Magic, you don't need to worry about reserving showtimes, as Disney has planned it all out for you! Almost every night in the Walt Disney theatre, there will be an amazing Broadway style show, which will play at least two times that night, sometimes also adding in a third show as a matinee as well. Besides the 2:00 or 4:00 matinee, there will be a 6:30 show for those with the late dining, and an 8:30 show for those with the main dining.

I just sailed the Magic just last week, and I can tell you that two of the shows are not to be missed! Twice Charmed is an original twist on the Cinderella story. Broadway wanted to take that show and lengthen it for a run there, but the Magic wanted to keep it exclusive for their guests, so that just tells you the caliber of the performance! Dreams is even better than Twice Charmed, and you'll even see fireworks on stage! Dreams always brings a tear to my eyes!

Be sure to make reservations soon if you'd like to dine at the Adult Exclusive Palo, which I highly recommend. It's a fabulous culinary experience. I had the change to sit in with the chef as he demonstrated some of his favorite dishes last week, and you are in for a real treat dining there, I promise! Be sure to sign your name in the guest book as you leave. I was excited to learn that the one of the designers of Palo actually still hand-makes each guest book in the restaurant, and the full ones are saved as part of the ship's history.

Have fun planning, Katheryne, and enjoy your cruise!
