Welcome to planDisney, Jeffrey!
Can you believe that you are less than one month away from your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth? It will truly be the most wonderful time of the year once you're walking down Main Street, U.S.A. under the glow of lights with Cinderella Castle shining in the distance! As a lover of canines and the holidays, I'm delighted to assist you as you finalize plans for your upcoming vacation. No need to press
paws. Let's get right to your question!
Walt Disney World Resort understands that service animals are vital family members for many Guests, so I'm happy to share that certified service dogs that are trained to perform a specific task for an individual with a disability are permitted at all Disney Resorts Collection hotels per Walt Disney World Resort policy. This means that your four-legged family member will be more than welcome to join you at
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa! There's no reason to register your service dog in advance, but if you'd like to request a specific room location that will be convenient for animal relief, you're more than welcome to reach out to a Cast Member at the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone line to have it noted on your reservation.
Additionally, when exploring areas of Walt Disney World Resort beyond Saratoga Springs, you'll be able to take advantage of Walt Disney World Resort's
complimentary transportation alongside your furry family member. You'll conveniently find information on navigating Walt Disney World Resort with a service animal on
Walt Disney World's website. This page includes information on available options for animal relief as well as attraction guidelines for each of the theme parks. Regardless of your location, please keep in mind that service animals must be under the control of the owner and leashed or harnessed at all times.
I hope this was helpful, Jeffrey, and that your upcoming vacation is filled with magical memories and wagging tails. If you have any additional questions, feel free to
stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
