A holly jolly welcome to planDisney, Alexandra!
How exciting that you're about to
jingle all the way to Walt Disney World Resort! I just returned from my very own magical vacation, and I am happy to report that it is officially the most wonderful time of year in The Most Magical Place on Earth. The halls are decked, and Disney's Hollywood Studios is even more glamourous than usual aglow in its holiday glory. I truly can't get enough of the colored lights and shiny tinsel!
While the seasonal decorations are showstoppers, the separately ticketed events such as
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and
Disney Jollywood Nights are always my holiday highlights. I was fortunate enough to attend both events on their opening nights just last week, so I'm happy to share a bit of insight with you!
While you will be able to make your grand entrance to Jollywood Nights aboard the
Disney Skyliner (don't forget your ticket will grant you entrance beginning at 6 PM), unfortunately, the Skyliner was not operating at the conclusion of the party last week. Happily, my group was able to quickly board one of Walt Disney World's complimentary buses, so we were back at our Disney Resort hotel in no time.
Between your arrival and departure, I hope you'll make time to enjoy some of my favorite parts of the event:
- Be sure to check out the Disney Eats: Disney Jollywood Night Foodie Guide before your big night to ensure you're able to enjoy some of the tasty treats. I was a big fan of the Buffalo Chicken Spring Rolls and the Holiday Cheer!
- Don't miss the opportunity to dance and sing alongside some of your favorite Pixar characters at Pixar Disco. Singing one of my favorite Taylor Swift songs alongside Mike Wazowski instantly became a core memory.
- The Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club is a glamorous celebration reminiscent of Christmases past. Be ready to sing, tap, and sip along with the retro band.
- Of course, the highlight for most Guests is Disney's Holidays in Hollywood hosted by Kermit and Miss Piggy. Be sure to keep an eye (and ear) out for cameos by some of your favorite Disney characters!
I ho-ho-hope this was helpful, Alexandra! If you'd like any additional recommendations for the event, feel free to
stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Merry Thoughts!
