    I am seriously considering a cruise for Oct 2017. One of the deciding factors on which cruise is the Port Excursions offered. How/where can I find these? And how much they cost? Is booking them fairly straight forward or is using a TA an advantage?

    Welcome aboard, Julie! I'm thrilled to hear that your family is considering setting sail with Captain Mickey and his crew next year!

    Besides all of the fun included in your Disney Cruise Line vacation onboard the ship, Disney also offers some really amazing Port Adventures. You can view these by port of call on Disney Cruise Line's website. Then, select the area that you'll be sailing, such as Caribbean or Bahamas, and then you can choose each port of call and view the magical adventures Disney has planned in each. When you're on the Port Adventures page for the area you'd like, the Bahamas for example, you can click the drop down box on the top left of the page that says Ports of Call. Click the exact ports you're interested in for adventures, and it'll narrow the choices for you. There really is an adventure for everyone, whether you're a thrill seeker or someone who just wants to relax on a beautiful beach, and everyone in between! The costs are noted on each individual adventure.

    Once you book your cruise, you can continue deciding on Port Adventures by browsing them on the website. Then, if this is your first cruise with Disney, you will be able to begin your online check-in 75 days prior to sailing. It is at that point that you'll be able to log into your reservation and select adventures for the different days of your sailing.These Port Adventures are later charged to your stateroom account onboard. It really couldn't be easier to book them yourself on Disney Cruise Line's website!
