September is suppose to be a good time of the month to visit. Should I be worried about crowd levels judging by all the dining reservations I can not get. It seems like there is hardly anything available for our trip 9/17-9/20.

    Hello, Brayanne!

September is a wonderful month to visit the Walt Disney World Resort for many reasons: smaller anticipated crowd levels, cheerful fall decorations and the start of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are just a few of the reasons my family and I love to visit in September. Historically, September has been one of the least crowded months to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, but we will have to wait and see what this year brings to know if this pattern will hold true for your travel dates.

Please keep in mind that most dining reservations can be made 180 days in advance, and the most popular dining experiences do tend to fill up very quickly, even at 100+ days out. I'd like to encourage you to check back often if there is a particular dining reservation that you have your heart set on experiencing. With a little faith, trust and pixie dust -- ok, and lot of patience! -- you may be able to secure a last minute dining reservation on the days leading up to your vacation.

I hope you have a magical Walt Disney World vacation, Brayanne! If you have any additional questions before your trip, please do not hesitate to stop back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We'd love to hEAR from you!
