In September, we have 8:40am reservation at Crystal Palace and from what I can see, Magic Kingdom has the early morning extra magic hour that day. Will we be allowed in any earlier than 8am since we do have reservations or at 8am when the park opens? Thx!

    Donna,

If your reservation is for 8:40 am, and the park opens at 8:00 am for morning Extra Magic Hours, I am guessing that they will not let you in before 8:00 am. Typically they ask that you arrive at a dining establishment 15 minutes before dining, and since the walk up Main Street to the Crystal Palace should not take very long, I would imagine that they will assume that 40 minutes is plenty of time after rope drop for you to make it there.

However, there is always magic in the air at Walt Disney World! It never hurts to ask, and if you can get in a bit before the crowd you can get some great pictures without all the crowds in the way. Because they are sure to be letting other diners with earlier reservations in ahead of time, they might just let you in.

Worst case scenario is they say no and you get to watch the entertaining rope drop show before heading to breakfast!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
