    Now that it is after September 2024, are the Cabins at Firt Wilderness considered Deluxe and eligible.for the extended park hours?

    Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with a question for us today.

    Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are a fantastic perk for guests of Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, and a few other select properties. Specific times will be listed on the Hours & Events calendar so be sure to keep an eye on that as your travel dates near. 

    The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort - A Disney Vacation Club Resort are listed among the resorts eligible for this great benefit. However, your reservation must be booked as a Disney Vacation Club stay and not via a standard resort reservation. You'll note the different options on this page with Disney Vacation Club (DVC) cabins listed at the top and standard cabins further down the page. DVC cabins are designated as 1-bedroom cabins while the standard cabins are listed as "Wilderness Cabin." If you are a DVC member booking your stay on points, your reservation will qualify based on the current policies.

    Elizabeth, did you know that these cabins are also dog-friendly? You'll need to register your furry friend in advance by calling (407) 939-5277 but your dog can enjoy a bit of magic right alongside you during your stay. Note that there is a limit of 2 dogs per reservation and an additional fee applies. My family is hoping to visit with our pup Remy at some point in the future. I think she'll love lounging on the cabin deck and soaking up some sun while we enjoy some downtime. We'll be sure to book some daycare time for her at Best Friends Pet Care while we're experiencing all the thrills and excitement at the parks.
