Sept week vacation. 5 year old twins and 71 year old Dad. looking for more resort activities . Port Orleans Riverside or Animal Kingdom Lodge? HELP!!! We don't want to be at the park all day every day . looking for more to do at the resort

    Hi Susan!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my family's favorite Disney Resort hotels. I would suggest a stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge for you, especially if your children enjoy swimming and other recreational activities. My two sons love spending time at the 11,000-square-foot Uzima Pool, as well as the Hakuna Matata Playground.

Discovering the 30+ species of African wildlife on the savannah is also a lot of fun. Your twins and 71-year-old dad can use the Wildlife Field Guide to identify each of them. These guides can be found in your Guest Room, or picked up from the Lobby Concierge. The Animal Specialists at Animal Kingdom Lodge also lead programs to teach Guests about African animals and ecosystems.

Please let us know if we can assist you with any other questions regarding your upcoming visit to Disney World.

    Have a magical day!
