The magic is calling, Kate! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for this fabulous question. You'll be arriving for your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation at any moment, so let's talk about Disney Resort hotel reservations. Here we goooo!
It sounds like you have two resort reservations you'd like to combine. If the reservations are at the same resort and have no days in between, you might be able to link them by calling the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line. However, to be combined, the reservations need to be the same room type and have the same offer code.
If your two stays are at the same resort but don't meet the criteria to be combined, I recommend calling to add a note to the stay that you'd like to remain in the same room. There's no guarantee, but Cast Members typically try their best to accommodate those requests.
Guests enjoying the variety of staying at two different resorts cannot combine those into one reservation. This is called a "split stay" and is treated as two independent bookings. The excellent news is
Bell Services will transfer your luggage to your second resort while you enjoy your Disney day. And with the new
Lightning Lane pass system, you should be eligible to book passes for both stays when your initial window opens.
In summary, my main suggestion is to call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations to find out your options. They can see those reservation details and determine the best way to have a seamless stay. I'm wishing on a star that your accommodations are fit for a princess!
Kate, I hope you make many magical memories on your vacation. If I missed the mark on the type of reservations you're referring to, please feel free to come back to
planDisney anytime. Thanks again, and safe travels!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
