Is there a separate bus stop at Bay Lake Towers, or will we walk to the main Contemporary building? To get from there to AKL, should we go to MK or TTC and take a bus? What about BL/Contemp to WL? Thanks!

I have stayed at Bay Lake Tower, Animal Kingdom Lodge and the Contemporary several times each.

There is no separate BLT bus stop. You use the Contemporary stop to take the buses to the parks. You should not be concerned about this, the Contemporary bus stop is actually closer to BLT than it is to the Garden wing rooms at the Contemporary proper. I've never had any problems at all with this.

To get from the Contemporary/BLT to the Animal Kingdom Lodge you have a few choices:

    - You could take a cab (fastest, but costs approximately $20.)

    - You could take a bus from BLT to the Animal Kingdom park. From the Animal Kingdom park, transfer to a bus to the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

    - You could take the monorail one stop to the Transportation and Ticket Center and hop on a bus to the AKL.

    - You could take the five minute walk to the Magic Kingdom and pick up the bus to the AKL from there. (This would be my choice.)

There is boat that runs directly between the Contemporary/BLT to the Wilderness Lodge. Just walk over to the dock and you'll see the signs. Boats run every 15 minutes or so.

    Enjoy your trip!
