Hi there, Adina!
Thanks for sailing back with another question! You are going to love the
Disney Magic, it's such a beautiful ship. As one of the smaller ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, I think it's perfect for a first cruise!
A clear sign that you're embarking on an adventure is the music and fun of
Mickey's Sail-A-Wave Party! I love the energy and excitement as guests watch the ship leave the port, but I find tight crowds a bit overwhelming myself. Deck 9 will likely be the most crowded because that's where the stage and the majority of the viewing area are located. I prefer to head up on Deck 10 and grab a spot on the railing (you'll want to be early to get a spot) so I have a great view without being surrounded by people on all sides.
I've found that I'm usually grateful for a pair of earplugs at some point when I'm cruising, whether it's for deck parties or just making sure I sleep well. I highly recommend packing some, but if you forget you can ask at the
Guest Services Desk on Deck 3 and they should be able to help you locate a pair.
I love to use the
deck plans on the Disney Cruise Line website to get familiar with a new ship! It's a great way to see where your stateroom is in relation to other locations on the ship. Don't forget to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App so you can enjoy the adorable countdown feature before you board the ship and unlock all the helpful magic in the app for your sailing!
Have a wonderful cruise, Adina!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
