Welcome to planDisney, Millicent! I'm so glad you stopped by. I'm a Florida resident who's over 55, so I'd love to help you find a way to enjoy some
Walt Disney World Resort magic.
Although no official discounts are
offered to seniors through the Disney website, I suggest you check with any organizations you're a member of, such as AARP or AAA. These companies offer deals occasionally, so that's a great place to start.
You can also check the
Special Offers page on the Walt Disney World website for current deals for all guests. There are typically military discounts for theme park tickets and Disney Resort Hotel stays if anyone in your party qualifies.
As for
Special Offers for Florida residents, I can personally attest that there are some fantastic deals for us folks living in the Sunshine State. These offers are exclusively available for residents, so anyone in your party who can show
proof of residency is welcome to take advantage of any current deals.
One tip is that a Florida resident can book a
Disney Resort Hotel using a resident offer, but only one resident must stay in the room. Additional guests will not need to show proof of residency; only the resident who makes the reservation will need to do so.
Remember that all guests who purchase theme park tickets using a Florida resident discount must show proof of residency to activate their tickets.
One of the best deals for Florida residents is the
Disney Pixie Dust Annual Pass. I have this weekday-only pass, and it has paid for itself many times over. It's reasonably priced and offers food and merchandise discounts, too. Feel free to pass on that recommendation to any Florida friends!
Millicent, I hope you find a phenomenal deal for your next Disney visit. Saving money is magical! Please
stop by planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
