I am a senior planning visit WDW in Jan 2016.Would like to go when less crowded as I have limited walking, standing.I was looking for event calendar on website, but none found. Please tell me if there are any dates in January or Feb that I shouldn't go..

    Hi JoAnn,

I perfectly understand your desire to avoid crowds on your trip.  It's not always easy to do at the Walt Disney World Resort, but January and February are typically low on the crowd scale except for the following dates:

Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend-January 6-10
Martin Luther King Holiday weekend-January 16-18
    President's Day weekend-February 12-15
Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend-February 18-21

There is nothing special going on in the parks on the holiday weekends.  There are lots of folks wanting to enjoy a three day week-end with the Monday holiday.

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel.  Let us know if there's anything else we can do to make your trip more enjoyable.

    Be Magical,

    Leanne T.

Walt Disney captured my heart as a little girl and has not let go since. As a parent and grandparent, I have been to the Walt Disney World Resort with children of all ages, and also as empty nesters. I would like to share my years of experience so that you are able to start your own tradition of Walt Disney World memories, just as I have. Learn More About Leanne
