Do you have a senior discount for Disneyland tickets?

    Welcome to planDisney, Julia!

I’m so glad you reached out to us as you prepare for your visit to The Happiest Place On Earth next week! Your question brings to mind the heartwarming story behind the creation of the Disneyland Park. It all started when Walt Disney imagined a place where both adults and children could have fun together. The idea sparked while he was sitting on a bench one weekend, watching his daughters play.  Earlier this year, when I was expecting my second baby, I enjoyed many smooth and gentle rides with my older son that were safe for expectant mothers. The Attractions and Entertainment page was a great tool to help me find these rides!

Now, about discounts—while there aren’t any specific offers for senior citizens at Disneyland Resort right now, I always recommend checking the “Offers & Discounts” section when planning your trip. It’s a great way to make the most of your Disney Dollars! Just make sure you’re logged into your MyDisney account and that your address and personal information are up-to-date. This way, all relevant deals will be displayed for you.

Currently, there’s a special price for guests with a residential address in Anaheim for a 1-Day, 1-Park ticket. There's also a special offer on a 3-Day, 1 park per day ticket for children under 9. to consider. Other offers include the Military Promotional Park Hopper Ticket and various hotel stay discounts.

If none of these offers suit your family, here are a few more tips:

Did you know that you can bring your own food and drinks according to the list of Prohibited Items at the Disneyland Resort. Meals and snacks can add up quickly, so bringing your own can be a great option. When my husband joins us, he packs frozen water bottles in a soft-sided cooler to keep deli meats, fruits, and cheeses fresh. As the bottles melt, we end up with chilled water or a sports drink. This way, I can splurge on my favorite treat: the Cold Brew Black Caf in Galaxy's Edge.

I also like to carry a reusable bottle for the filling stations throughout the parks, especially during these hot months.

I know this might not be the exact information you were hoping for, Julia, but if you have any more specific questions as you prepare for your visit, I’d love to help! As Ursula says, "That's what I do! It's what I live for!" So if you have any more questions or would like more tips before your visit, just swim on back to ask me again.
