Hi Jessica,
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney! You've come to the right place for Disney-planning help, and I'm hoping this means that you're dreaming about visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth sometime soon! The magic is certainly there and waiting for YOU!
In this current digital age, it's no longer possible for information to be mailed to you at home, but Hakuna Matata...no worries! I'd be happy to share some great planning sites with you, and as someone who still uses a paper planner and prefers the feel of a good book in my hands, I'll even point out where you can print the same maps that are handed out in the theme parks so you can have all of the attractions and in-park dining locations in front of you, ready to highlight and personalize for your own incredible visit.
First, I'd start at
Walt Disney World Resort's homepage. It will have information about all of the latest and greatest happenings as well as any upcoming special events. There's usually a video at the top of the page that will get you in the perfect Disney-planning mood, too! Next, I'd encourage you to check out information about building the perfect
vacation package which includes a stay right in the middle of the magic at a Disney Resort hotel. I think you'll also find this handy dandy
Ticket Guide helpful as you're deciding how to spend your days and build your itinerary. Of course, no Disney vacation would be complete without thinking about all of the incredible
dining experiences! Mmm...my mouth is watering just thinking about some of the fantastic options! As you begin putting together the pieces of your trip,
My Disney Experience will be the perfect tool for holding all of your plans in one place.
Now, as promised...if you'd like to be able to print each park map to help you plan your visit, you'll want to click on each of the individual theme park pages (
Magic Kingdom Park,
EPCOT,
Disney's Hollywood Studios, and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park) and look just underneath the blue header on the left-hand side of the page. You'll see the location, a link for Guest Services, and an arrow with that park's Guide Map. As you're looking through the maps and dreaming about all the fun you'll have, I'm happy to let you know that you'll find lots of
detailed information about each attraction online as well.
Hopefully this is helpful as you begin planning your dream Disney vacation, Jessica. I know there's a lot to think about as you're planning the details of your trip, so please come see us again with any other questions you may have. We're always here and happy to help!
Missy
