Hello, Rachel, and welcome to planDisney!
I see that you're planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort in October.
The World's Most Magical Celebration kicks off on October 1st and is sure to be fun for all! Our family will be visiting Walt Disney World in October as well and we're looking forward to celebrating Walt Disney World Resort's 50th anniversary.
Disney is no longer sending out printed materials with vacation planning DVDs, however, you can find everything you need online! I'll be happy to tell you how to find the magical resources you need. A great place to begin your vacation planning is
disneyworld.com/tomorrow. On this page you can explore the theme parks, look through a
vacation planning guide, and discover current resort packages.
Each park's guide map can be found on the theme park's homepage. For example, go to
Magic Kingdom Park's homepage and scroll down until you see a link for
Guest Services on the left. Next to this link you'll find a blue arrow and a
Magic Kingdom Guide Map link. For your convenience, I've listed the links below to each of the guide maps. Please keep in mind these maps change throughout the year, so check back as your travel dates get closer.

Disney Parks YouTube channel. There are dozens of playlists to browse through, including "Virtual Disney Rides" and "Walt Disney World - Resorts." planDisney also has a
Video Library on planDisney.com with planning tips and must-dos. While you're on planDisney, you should also check out our
Panel Extras page. The Panel helped put together helpful lists such as
Top Vacation Planning Tools and
Walt Disney World Greatest Hits and Classic Must-Trys.
Rachel,
please let me know if I can help you with any other questions as you're planning your visit to Walt Disney World this fall.
Have a magical day!
Bob
