    I have seen the TRex cafe and the SCi-Fi cafe mentioned here and was curious... WHERE are those 2 restaurants and do they accept the DDP?

    The T-Rex Cafe is located at Downtown Disney. This is a chain restaurant that does not take the Disney Dining Plan as payment. You can find out more about it at trexcafe.com.

    The Sci-Fi Dine-In is located at Disney's Hollywood Studios park. They do accept Disney Dining Plan credits.

    Both of these spots showcase great themeing and a fun atmosphere, but do not have characters. This makes them great for older kids or teens who still want something fun, but don't need to have Mickey-time.
