I’ve seen that if you purchase a pass, it won’t begin the “year” until you actually visit a park. If you purchase it now, could you make reservations for June and it not be activated until June?

    Hi there, Megan!

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with your question for us.

When the magic calls, I always answer, so I completely understand why you want to purchase the Disney Pixie Dust Pass for Florida residents! This is currently the only Annual Pass on sale and is valid for use most weekdays, subject to blockout dates. As an Annual Passholder, I love the exciting Passholder Benefits like dining and merchandise discounts. And, of course, being able to return to the magic all year long makes it absolutely worth it!

Megan, you are correct; your Annual Pass year begins when you first use it to enter the theme parks, not at the time of purchase. Thus, you could purchase it today, and the clock wouldn’t begin on your 365 days of magic until the day in June you’d like to visit.

I do hope you treat yourself to a yummy Mickey-shaped treat when you join the Annual Passholder family!

We can’t wait to welcome you to the magic, Megan. Here’s to many enchanting visits.
