I've seen the prices for the new balloon ride in Downtown Disney. They are specified for ages 3 and up. Are kids under 3 free, or are they not allowed to ride? My daughter is 2 and LOVES balloons.

I rode on the Characters in Flight balloon for the first time last month. The ride is very gentle and we had spectacular views of the entire WDW area.

Small children are allowed on the balloon. There is no charge for children under the age of three. You should be aware that the "basket" of the balloon is opaque and goes up to about hip height on an adult. If you want your daughter to be able to see the sights, you're going to have to hold her during the flight. The flight lasts about 10-15 minutes depending on the weather conditions and other factors.

    Enjoy your stay at WDW!
