ive seen posts regarding free dining what actually is that and how would one qualify

    Hi Steve,

The Free Dining promotion is something that Walt Disney World has been offering now for the last few years and is a great deal. The promotion is typically announced in early spring and last year was available to guests traveling to WDW during late August thru September of 2008. Guests had to be staying at least three consecutive nights at a WDW property and had to buy at least a one day Magic Your Way ticket per person in order to be eligible for the free dining promotion.

This promotion gave each eligible guest one day of the dining plan free for each night stayed. The 2008 dining plan allowed each guest one counter service, one table service and one snack per person, per nights stay. The promotion had to be booked by mid June and could not be combined with any other discounts or special offers. There were a limited number of free dining packages available per day.

WDW has not officially announced if the promotion will be run again in 2009 but it has been extremely popular in the past so I would expect to see it again in 2009. Be sure to visit www.waltdisneyworld.com often to check for the announcement on this or any other special offers.

    Best,
    Margaret
