I have seen it posted in various places that they do not allow any glass containers in the theme parks. Does this mean I cannont bring a jar of baby food, as we will be travelling with an infant?

If you check the very bottom of the list of Frequently Asked theme park questions HERE, you'll see that the only glass containers allowed through security into the parks are baby food jars and perfume bottles. So, you'll be fine bringing baby food in a glass jar with you. I'm out of the baby food stage myself now, but I have seen several varieties of baby food in my local supermarket that come in plastic containers rather than glass. This might be more convenient for you from a weight (glass is heavy) and safety (glass is obviously breakable) perspective, but if glass jars work best for you, then you're good to go.
