Welcome to planDisney, Philip.
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is easily one of my favorites! Gran Destino Tower has this effortlessly elegant charm that makes it feel like a Deluxe Resort, and the theming throughout is just stunning. The dining options? Top-notch.
Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood serves up incredible dishes (with equally amazing views), and
Three Bridges Bar & Grill at Villa del Lago is a hidden gem you won’t want to miss. But honestly, I’m also a fan of the simple things—grabbing a fresh coffee from
Barcelona Lounge and taking a quiet morning stroll around Lago Dorado is pure bliss. And let’s not forget the Dig Site Pool—easily one of the best pools on Disney property. I’m so excited for you to experience this resort, Philip!
Unfortunately, fishing isn’t allowed on Lago Dorado, as this lake is just for looks and relaxing, not for casting a line. But if you're hoping to do some
fishing at Disney, you're in luck! You can book a guided fishing excursion at spots like Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon (near Magic Kingdom), Crescent Lake (by the EPCOT resorts), or over at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. It’s all catch-and-release, and they provide the gear, so you just get to enjoy the experience. Let me know if you want more details! You can also bring your own gear and do some dockside fishing at Fishin' Hole at Ol' Man Island at Disney's Port Orleans Resort – Riverside and Bike Barn at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.
If you have other specific questions, you can ask a Cast Member when you call up to reserve your spot. I hope that's helpful, Philip. See ya real soon!
