I’ve seen a dining option that includes VIP viewing for the Festival of Fantasy Parade. I not sure of the location on the map: where is the restaurant & the VIP viewing area? - Is this a worthwhile experience? ie: still an interactive options for kids?

    Hi Emily!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My family and I just watched Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade on Main Street, U.S.A. on the 4th of July and it is indeed the most magical of parades. My kiddos love the Celtic dancers that front Merida’s float!

For the perfect view of the parade, I think the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade Dining Package is the perfect option. You will indulge in delicious Italian fare at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant, and then have an exclusive viewing spot at the Main Street, U.S.A. flagpole. It’s the top of the street and allows for the perfect shot of the parade with Cinderella Castle as a backdrop!

It’s a quick walk away from the restaurant, which if you are entering Magic Kingdom Park is to the right after passing under the Walt Disney World Railroad station. The enchanting package includes an appetizer, entrée, dessert, and beverage for your meal. I highly recommend the Cannoli, and if you order the Spaghetti, you can recreate the scene from Lady and the Tramp!

When you are in your prime viewing spot, you will have a 360-degree view of the magnificent parade. The costumes are amazing, and the interaction with the characters is tops! I love the Steampunk style of Maleficent in dragon form; she WOWS me every time!

Emily, I wish you a vacation full of fantasy and magic!
