I spoke with a helpful member of
Savi’s Workshop, and I’m happy to confirm that yes, it is possible to ship your custom lightsaber home from Batuu. Just let the Gatherers inside Savi’s know you’d like to have your lightsaber shipped, and they’ll direct you to the shipping station located inside the workshop. The shipment is handled by the local branch of the USPS (no droids or banthas involved), and the cost will vary depending on the weight of your saber. All you’ll need is your lightsaber and the original purchase receipt. No need to sneak past any First Order patrols!
Now, Baubak, as a fellow traveler of the galaxy and fan of the Force, there are two current happenings at Disneyland that you’ll definitely want to add to your star chart. First, each night in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, a stunning projection show "
Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga” lights up the Batuu skyline. Set to the powerful scores of John Williams, this experience unfolds across the spires near the Millennium Falcon and traces the epic journey of the Skywalker family. I recommend arriving early and grabbing a spot near the stairs across from the Falcon for the best view in the sector.
But that’s not all! A certain Jedi (yes, that Jedi) is making appearances in Black Spire Outpost. Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight, can be spotted patrolling the Marketplace or occasionally greeting visitors near the Falcon (often with R2-D2 at his side!). Check the
Disneyland app for real-time updates on his galactic schedule.
