    I have seen the character MagicBands for purchase on the DisneyStore website. Will I be able to easily link these bands to my account? If I use these bands instead of the bands given by the on-site hotels, will they still unlock our hotel room door?

    Hey, Nicole! Linking MagicBands to your My Disney Experience account is easy as could be. No magic words or flicks of your wand are needed to get the job done. Once you have your favorite new MagicBand in hand, just head to the Claims page and select the option for linking MagicBands. You will notice a series of numbers on the back of your MagicBand. Just input those numbers to the website and that's it! I told you it would be easy! Once the new MagicBand is appropriately linked to your My Disney Experience account, you can use it in the exact same way as any MagicBand you would receive as part of your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort hotel stay.

    Nicole, be sure to take a look at the MagicBands listed on the Shop Disney Parks app. I usually find a much greater selection in the app than on DisneyStore.com. I went into the Shop Disney Parks app earlier today and noticed there is an offer for free shipping until September 5, so get to shopping!
