I have seen many ?'s and answers re: best way to get here and there within Disney World. Can the resorts also give us this information during our visit so that I do not have to remember these convenient routes suggested by Moms Panel? Thanks so much!

    Deb,

Excellent question.  Yes, you absolutely can get great transportation information once you are at your resort.  In fact the check-in material you receive will include information (usually in the resort's weekly newsletter) about the best transportation options to get to the theme parks, waterparks, and Downtown Disney.  Guest services/concierge desk/bell services can also help you out with these types of questions.

Once you are at the parks (or waterparks, etc.), you can similarly get great transportation advice from cast members near the entrance and at guest services.

If you are interested in going to an early character breakfast at another resort or at one of the theme parks, be sure to ask specifically for the "character breakfast bus" information.  I say this because if you ask a Cast Member "When do the buses to the parks start running?", they will usually tell you (correctly) that the buses start one hour prior to the opening of the parks.  However, there are special buses with earlier schedules to get guests to the early character breakfasts.

Hope that helps.  Thanks for the great question.
