Hiya Jana,
Welcome back to planDisney! The collaboration of Disney with American Girl Dolls made me so happy! I still remember getting my first American Girl Doll when I was little, so I was so excited when my 2-year-old got her Moana Doll for Christmas this year. She loves dancing around with her, and the quality is unmatched.
Thanks to the Walt Disney World Marathon weekend, Jana, I was able to have a couple of my fellow panelists,
Jessica B. and
Eean K., check on-site to see if there were any of the American Girl Disney Princess dolls. They asked Cast Members but could not find any American Girl Dolls sold at Walt Disney World Resort. With that said, Jana, in my experience, merchandise availability is always subject to change, so that doesn't mean they won't be available during your trip. My tip is to ask Cast Members at any merchandise location when you arrive next month in case this changes. They can look up availability at all locations on-site and let you know if the American Girl Dolls are being sold at Disney World.
Jana, as I mentioned, I have a 2-year-old, so I spend a lot of my time thinking of plan B in case what I originally wanted doesn't work out. So, before I let you go, I wanted to share some backup plans with you. First, did you know that select dolls are available online through the
Disney Store? Currently, they have four available (Cinderella, Ariel, Tiana, and Rapunzel), so if any of these four are what you were looking for, you could get them shipped and bring them to the Theme Parks with you. If you would prefer to pick up a doll in person, there is an American Girl Doll store in Orlando. The store is about 30 minutes from Walt Disney World Resort, and they may have some of the Disney Princess dolls in stock for you to pick up in February.
I hope this was helpful! Please let us know if you need anything else!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
