Hi Kim! Thanks so much for the kind compliment -- you are so sweet! Four is such a great age to visit Disney World -- you're going to have a magical trip with your twins! Like you, I want to get the most bang for my buck when traveling, but at the same time I love the luxury of Disney's Deluxe resorts. Staying in one of the Deluxe resorts is a vacation in itself, so even when you leave the parks, the fun and relaxation continues. The Animal Kingdom Lodge is often the least expensive of the Deluxe resorts, and I bet your twins would love spotting giraffes, zebras and other animals on the African savanna from your resort room balcony! The Wilderness Lodge is also priced lower than other Deluxe resorts, but has a wonderful location a short boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom. In the Moderate resort category, consider the tranquil atmosphere at the Port Orleans Resort, and in the Value category, choose the Pop Century. I try to get the best price for the the resorts by keeping an eye on the
Special Offers page of the Disney website and unofficial sites, such as www.mousesavers.com. Currently you'll find an offer for early and late summer that gives you the Disney Dining Plan for free if you book a vacation package. Food can be expensive at Disney, so the Dining Plan can be a real money saver, especially if it's free! If your daughter's a princess fan, definitely book a meal at Cinderella's Royal Table or Akershus so she can meet them in a relaxed setting! Chef Mickey's is another fun character meal with a huge buffet -- your twins would love the sundae bar! My children also love eating at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater where you dine in cars while watching campy drive-in movies.
I'd love to help you plan your trip! Come visit me again at the Moms Panel with more questions!
