Hiya, George!
I'm sorry you're having a frustrating time making
dining reservations for some of the meals you want to experience. I spend a lot of time planning meals for my family vacations, and I do have a few tips for you.
Walt Disney World has many
amazing restaurants, but there are always those fan-favorite spots that seem to book up faster than you would think possible.
Cinderella's Royal Table has always been one of those hard-to-get reservations, but we don't give up here where "faith, trust, and pixie dust" is a way of life.
First, remember that you can begin booking 60 days out, but if you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can book for the whole length of your stay. If you can arrange your schedule, try to snag the tougher to get reservations for later in your trip, so instead of booking at 60 days out, you could be booking 62 or 63 days out. That's where the "home field" advantage kicks in.
My second suggestion is to be a little flexible where you can. If you are trying to get a reservation at a popular restaurant for dinner, try to grab a lunch reservation instead. If the goal is to see Mickey Mouse at
Chef Mickey's and you can't get in, go see MIckey at
Garden Grill Restaurant.
Lastly, George, keep trying. People change plans all the time. I like to check just before 10 PM and again just after 7 AM. And always check the day of. You can even do that on your
My Disney Experience app.
Fingers crossed for you, George!
Anna
