I just secured a reservation for breakfast at BOG. Is the menu posted on the BOG page all they have to offer for breakfast? Was disapointed with the menu, honestly some very unusual items. No bacon, eggs, toast, mickey waffles? And all meals $21.99?

    Bonjour, Cari!

Be Our Guest Restaurant is a great way to start a magical day at the Walt Disney World Resort. This fairytale dining experience will make you feel like you've been transported to the classic story of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, complete with French-inspired flavors and a truly spectacular setting. After you have selected a table in one of three gorgeous dining rooms, you will be served a small platter of assorted pastries. My favorite item on the breakfast menu is the decadent Croissant Doughnut. This sweet and savory option is the perfect treat to celebrate the start of another exciting day at Magic Kingdom Park!

The French-inspired entrée options may sound a little different than their American counterparts, but I've found it helpful to read the descriptions (and prices) of each online. For instance, you should be able to find scrambled egg whites with roasted tomatoes, sausage and fresh fruit on the breakfast menu under the entrée "Scrambled Egg Whites." Children's menu options range from oatmeal to french toast, crepes and even Kellogg's cereal. If you find that you need additional information before securing your breakfast reservation, I recommend doing a quick search for images of the entrées offered at Be Our Guest Restaurant. People say a picture is worth a thousand words, and I've found this to be especially helpful when planning new dining experiences with my family.

If you decide that the French-inspired cuisine at Be Our Guest Restaurant does not suit your taste, you may be interested in breakfast at The Crystal Palace. This buffet is stocked with American favorites: omelets, french toast, breakfast cereals and more. Reservations are highly recommended for both dining experiences, and can be made up to 180 days in advance.

Wishing you a magical Walt Disney World vacation, Cari!
