I just secured an 8:40 p.m. reservation at BOG on May 15th (YAY for a cancellation). My grand daughter has a 5:00 appt. at BBB in Downtown Disney. Do you think we have enough time after her appointment to get to Magic Kingdom for this reservation?

Hi Scherri! You might want to buy a lottery ticket because you are lucky! How awesome that you scored a last minute dinner reservation at Be Our Guest! Your granddaughter is definitely going to be ready to dine in the Beast's castle after her makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! What a special evening this is going to be!

Even if you have to wait a bit past her appointment time at the Boutique, you should still have plenty of time to get to your dinner reservation at Be Our Guest. Appointments at the Boutique generally run no longer than an hour or so. Buses don't travel directly between the parks and Downtown Disney, so you'll have to ride to a resort first and then switch to transportation to the Magic Kingdom. (For instance take the boat from Downtown Disney to Saratoga Springs and then hop on the Downtown Disney bus. Alternatively take a bus to a resort like the Grand Floridian, and then take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom.) Since you'll have to take two modes of transportation, plan on an hour to travel between Downtown Disney and the park, unless you want to take a cab. Even with the hour for travel time, you'll arrive at the Magic Kingdom with plenty of time to spare before your dinner reservation.

If you want to maximize your time in the park, consider trying to switch your Boutique reservation to the Magic Kingdom location so you won't have to travel between the park and Downtown Disney. The Boutique does book up, but since you're on a lucky streak you may be able to snag a reservation at the Magic Kingdom location too!

Wishing you a magical visit! Come see me again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! I'd love to help!
