Hello.  Is there any secret for getting reservations for Cinderella's Royal Table? When is it best to call for cancelations?

There is no "best time" to call for cancelations, just keep calling back, every day if you want to, and maybe you'll get lucky.

As far as getting your own reservation goes, the most complete explanation for how to do this I have ever seen is printed in The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World. I consider this book to be the biggest must-have item for anyone planning a trip to Disney World. It is available in most US bookstores, many libraries, and on Amazon.com for about $20.00 (prices vary). Pages 336-340 of the 2008 edition tell exactly how to get the reservation. It takes 4 pages of tiny type in the book to explain it, but the essence boils down to "it's all in the timing." You need to be one of the first people in the phone queue at exactly 7:00 am, exactly when the reservations open for the day six months later when you want to eat at Cinderella's table. Actually, the first step in getting the reservation is figuring out the right day to call on, as this varies depending on whether you are staying at a WDW resort or not. I would start the process by calling Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE about seven months before your trip. Explain to the reservationist what you want to do, and ask them what the first day you can call to make Cinderella reservations is. I have used the Unofficial Guide plan to getting a reservation myself several times and am usually (but not always) successful. Over the years, we've had it work at least half a dozen times.

    Good luck!
